z SHAPLEIGH H.D.W. CO D.E. large 3 3/4" vintage double with leather punch blade

Antique SHAPLEIGH H.D.W. CO D.E. large 3 3/4" vintage double with leather punch blade jigged bone full bolstered double switchblade knife. The knife was made between 1907 and 1910 most likely by the Schrade Cutlery Co of Walden, NY under contract for Shapleigh Hardware Co. The knife measures 3 3/4" closed and 8 1/8" open with brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, buttons and safeties. The Spear blade is 99% full, or better and in very nice condition with partially readable etch "Diamond Edge with diamond in the middle and letters D. E. and the leather punch blade is 98% or better. The jigged bone scales are in excellent condition. The knife works great with both blade tips below liners closed, good snap and excellent lockup open. Safeties work. EX+ condition.
