Vintage Edgemaster fishtail with White synthetic scales (handles) made by the Federal Knife Co of Providence, RI in the late 40s, or early 1950s. This knife was designated the model #301 and measures 4 inches closed and 7 inches open with brass liners, steel button & nickel silver safety. The saber grind blade is mostly full (about 97%) and shiny with some light scratches, peppering & spotting and is stamped Edgemaster USA. The white synthetic scales are in good condition with some shrinkage and the letters "IN" notched into the front scale at the bottom (back). The knife functions good with blade tip even with the liners closed, good snap and locks open with about 1/8" movement up an down at the tip. The knife does rattle if shaken when open. Looks like the knife has been apart for repair at some point. The safety works. VG+ condition.
