This Weltersbach SOLINGEN Germany Stag Shell Puller Corkscrew Manual knife from the 1950s was in with a large stash of NOS switchblade knives found in storage in a warehouse in Mexico in 2020. There were over 300 automatic knives that had been put on a shelf in the warehouse around 1958 and sat there untouched for over 60 years! Most in original wrappers, or boxes. Most likely left over inventory of a Mexican importer/exporter wholesale company when the laws changed in 1958, or maybe just forgotten inventory, but definitely unsold inventory. There were a few German and Japanese manual knives in the group also including this one.
This knife measures 19.5cm (7.75 inches) open and has beautiful stag scales and brass liners. This knife has three blades including a corkscrew. The full flat grind spear blade is stamped Weltersbach SOLINGEN Germany and the backside has the numbers 2 and 6 in red grease pencil. Original factory finish on the blade. The pen blade is also full with original factory finish. Here's your chance to own a piece of one of the greatest NOS knife stash finds in history. ;^)
