Vintage WEIDMANNS HEIL SOLINGEN GERMANY 10cm German Lever Stag automatic knife most likely made in the 1970s or 80s. German knives are usually referred to by the size closed in CM (rounded down). This knife measures 10.4cm (4 1/16 inches) closed and 18.1cm (7 1/8 inches) open with brass liners and German (nickel) silver bolsters & lever. The spear point blade is 99% full or better with original finish with light scratches and the blade is stamped WEIDMANNS HEIL SOLINGEN GERMANY on the front of the tang and ROSTFREI SOLINGEN on the reverse. The genuine stag scales (handles) are in excellent condition with no cracks and the bottom front bolster is stamped SPRINGER KONIG. The knife works great with blade tip deep in the well closed, strong snap and TIGHT lockup open! EX+ condition.
