Contemporary Walt's Flat Guard 28cm Italian Picklock Bayonet blade Brazilian horn automatic knife with flat top button. I believe this is one of Walt's early 28cm flat guard knives in the original box. It measures 27.5cm (10 13/16 inches) open and just under 6 inches closed with brass liners and nickel silver bolsters with steel button & safety. The traditional bayonet style blade is 100% full with original finish and the ricasso is marked with Walt's Cat stamp (image of a cat over ITALY. The genuine horn scales are translucent green, black and cream and in great condition. The knife works well with blade tip deep & centered closed, Strong snap and tight lockup. No rattle if shaken with blade open. Safety works. Nearly new condition in original box.
