VIRGINIA INOX 20cm Vintage Italian Shell Puller Brevetto automatic knife

VIRGINIA INOX 20cm Vintage Italian Shell Puller Brevetto automatic knife. This is an unusual knife that you don't see very often. I believe it's 1960s vintage. The knife measures 20cm open  (approx 8 inches) with brass liners, steel bolsters/pullers and nickel silver button and safety cap. The clip point swedge blade is full and retains a lot of the original finish with some light scratches and is marked VIRGINIA INOX on the front ricasso and PATENT ITALY on the rear. Wrap around black synthetic scales are in good condition with some scuffs and handling marks. The knife works great with the blade tip seating deep, strong snap and good lockup open with just a little up and down. This is a backspring release so you press down on the exposed back spring to release the blade to be closed. Nice unusual vintage Italian shell puller switchblade knife. The word BREVETTO is stamped on the butt of the knife between the shell pullers. Safety works.
