1950s Italian picklock marked INOX in a circle and QJD in a circle on the front tang and FS on the rear. The QJD is the mark used by a French importer who bought these knives from Italy to be sold in France. The knife measures just under 16cm (6.25 inches) open with brass liners and nickel silver bolsters button and safety cap. It has a flat swedge grind blade that is mostly full with some light scratches and a bit of poor sharpening on the backside of the edge, but not bad. Very nice blade. The horn scales are very colorful with green and yellowed horn and are in very nice condition. The knife works great with blade tip seating deep and centered, strong snap and fair lockup with some movement each way. It does rattle a bit if shaken when open. Safety works. This knife has a lot of character and shows it's age with grace. Nice old Italian picklock made for the French market.
