Vintage TARRY LEVIGNE 21cm Italian Vintage Transitional Stiletto switchblade knife. Made in Italy for the French market in the 1960s-70s, these contract knives were the best quality Italian switchblades of the day, made to the same standards as the earlier 1950s picklocks . The knife measures 20.5cm (8 inches) open with D stamped brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, button and safety cap. The blade is full and retains all of the factory finish and is stamped with a picture of a LIZARD over IMPORT and the backside is stamped INOX. Some light scratches on the blade. The buffalo horn scales range in color from black to dark brown with tan streaks and in good condition. The knife works great with blade tip below liners closed, good snap and good lockup open with just a little movement at the tip. Safety works. EX condition.
