TARRY LEVIGNE 16cm Italian Vintage Transitional Stiletto switchblade knife

Vintage TARRY LEVIGNE 16cm Italian Vintage Transitional Stiletto switchblade knife. Made in Italy for the French market in the 1960s-70s, these contract knives were the best quality Italian switchblades of the day, made to the same standards as the earlier 1950s picklocks . The knife measures 16cm (6.25 inches) open with D stamped brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, button and safety cap. The blade is full and retains all of the factory finish and is stamped with a picture of a LIZARD (Gecko) over IMPORT and the backside is stamped INOX. Some light scratches on the blade and one gouge on the rear ricasso that I have no idea how it might have happened? The buffalo horn scales are dark green with some cream streaks and in good condition. Small clear area by pin near safety could be patch, but doesn't look like any work was done, or taken apart. The knife works great with blade tip just below liners closed, good snap and good lockup open with just a little movement at the tip. Safety works. EX condition.
