Sterile Vintage 20cm Italian vintage Fishtail picklock 1950s automatic knife

This is a vintage 1950s Italian fishtail picklock that was never stamped (marked). It measures 4 3/8" closed and just under 8 inches open with brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, button and safety cap. The blade is nearly full with 70 years of patina with some light pitting along the spine near the slope. The horn scales are in nice condition and range from dark brown to light brown with some cream in color. The knife works well with the blade tip seating well, strong snap and good lockup with a little movement. The safety does not work properly, but overall a really nice example of a 1950s Italian fishtail picklock.
