Sterile 28cm Italian Picklock 1950s vintage Black automatic knife

Vintage Sterile 28cm Italian picklock dark horn automatic knife with no maker's stamp on the blade made in Italy in the 1950s. The knife measures 27.5cm (10 13/16 inches) open and just under 6 inches closed with D stamped brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, button and safety cap. The gorgeous bayonet blade is 99% full or better with all of the original finish intact with a few light scratches and no maker's mark (stamp) on the ricasso. The horn scales are in good condition and are nearly all black with a little light streaking below the safety. Knife works well with blade tip deep and centered closed, strong snap and very good lockup with just a hint of movement at the tip open. Does Not rattle if shaken when open. The name picklock refers to how the knife is closed. You pick (lift) the locking tab with your thumbnail to release the blade to be closed.  Safety works. EX condition.
