Vintage Bullfighter lever knife made in Japan for the Mexican tourist trade between the late 1950s and into the 1970s. These were very popular with tourists and were made in three different sizes with different blade shapes, different colors and some variations on the scenes and are a lot of fun to collect. This knife is the harder-to-find smaller size wide body measuring 14cm (5.5 inches) open with steel liners and brass bolsters, lever and lanyard ring. The flat grind clip blade is nearly full and stamped STAINLESS STEEL on the face of the blade below the spine. Scales are clear acrylic over White background with gold dragon on the front and bullfighter/ matador scene on the back and scales are in excellent condition. The knife works well with the blade tip deep in the well closed, opens strong and Tight lockup open. EX+ condition.
