Stainless Steel 26cm Vintage SPRING KNIFE Swing guard NOS automatic knife

Vintage Stainless Steel 26cm Japanese SPRING KNIFE Swing guard NOS Rizzuto style automatic knife new in original box and made in the 1960s or 1970s in Japan. These knives saw a lot of use as props in movies over the years. The knife measures 26.3cm (10 5/16 inches) open and 5.75 inches closed with steel liners & guards and brass button, safety cap and pins with decorative nickel silver lanyard ring. The bayonet blade is 100% full with original finish with some light scratches from opening and closing and the ricasso is stamped STAINLESS STEEL. The black synthetic scales (handles) are excellent with just a hint of shrinkage. The knife works well with blade tip centered and below liners closed, good snap and excellent lockup with about 1/16" down at the tip that springs back. Just like new. This knife has been sitting in this box for most of the last 50+ years. We got three of these that had been in storage all that time. Safety works, but is a little loose. New Old Stock EX+ condition.
