STAINLESS STEEL 22cm Rizzuto Estileto Milano Black automatic knife

Vintage Japanese 22cm swing guard automatic knife from the 1960s or 70s obviously from the same company that made the Rizzuto Estileto Milano knives, but this one does not have that marking. These knives were used in a lot of movies from the 1960s through the 90s and are therefore very popular with switchblade & movie enthusiasts. The knife measures 22.1cm (8 13/16 inches) open with steel liners, bolsters & guards and nickel silver lanyard with brass button, safety & pins. The bayonet style blade is 99% full with original factory finish and the ricasso (tang) is stamped STAINLESS STEEL. The black synthetic scales are in very nice condition with just a few light handling scuffs. The knife works well with the blade tip seating deep and centered in the well closed, good snap and very good lockup when open. Tiny bit of movement at the tip springs back when you let go. Does not rattle if shaken with the blade open. The safety does work, but a little loose. Nice example of a vintage "Italian style" movie prop switchblade. EX+ condition.
