STAINLESS STEEL 19cm (7.5 inches) Japanese Black Deer Foot Hoof Lever switchblade

This is a vintage Japanese lever knife in the shape of an animal's leg with a hoof. Not sure if it's supposed to be a deer, or goat, but looks more like a goat's leg. The scales (handles) are made of black plastic and are in great condition. I believe this knife was made in the 1960s or 70s and the blade is marked simply STAINLESS STEEL, as most of the vintage Japanese switchblades were. It measures 19cm (7.5 inches) open with brass liners, bolsters, lever and lanyard ring. The blade is nearly full with original finish. The knife works great with the tip below the liners when closed, good snap and good lockup open. Nice example of a vintage lever automatic leg knife. EX condition.
