STAINLESS STEEL 17cm Japanese Picklock Bayonet blade vintage 1960s automatic knife

Vintage STAINLESS STEEL 17cm Japanese Picklock Bayonet blade automatic knife made in Japan in the 1960s or 70s. The knife measures 16.6cm (6.5 inches) open and 3 5/8 inches closed with brass liners and nickel silver bolsters with brass button, safety cap & pins. The bayonet style blade is 100% full with original finish and the tang is stamped STAINLESS STEEL. The scales (handles) are black & white synthetic and in good condition with one small chunk broken out by the button that doesn't take away much from this great vintage picklock. The knife works well with the blade tip centered and below the liners closed, nice snap opens fully and weak lockup. Does not rattle if shaken with blade open, but you can close it without lifting the locking tab though you wouldn't know it without trying it. Safety does not work properly. Good condition.
