STAINLESS (slant) UD96A000103 PATENT 23cm Italian Stiletto bolster release switchblade

Vintage STAINLESS 23cm Italian Bolster Release horn automatic knife. Instead of a button to open the knife, the blade is released to both open and close by swiveling the top front bolster. Unusual design from the 1980s or 90s. The knife measures 22.2cm (8 3/4 inches) open and 4 7/8 inches closed with brass liners & steel bolsters. The flat grind blade is full with all of the factory finish intact and the ricasso is marked STAINLESS diagonally on the front and the back is marked UD96A000103 PATENT, also diagonally. The horn scales are in great condition and mostly black with cream & tan streaks. The knife works great with blade tip deep in the well closed, strong snap and tight lockup. No rattle if shaken with blade open. Nearly new condition.
