STAINLESS ITALY 22cm Red translucent Stiletto switchblade NOS

Although this one is stamped STAINLESS ITALY, the bolsters tell me it was made in Taiwan, most likely. Probably from the late 1990s, it does have some age and it's New Old Stock. It was found in a storage unit along with 2 dozen others just the same in a box. The knife measures 22cm (8.75 inches) open with brass liners and stainless steel bolsters, button and safety cap. The bayonet style blade is full and retains all of the factory finish. The translucent Red scales are in good shape with a couple of hairline cracks. The knife works well with the blade tip below the liners when closed, good snap and tight lockup open. Swivel bolster release to close the blade is a little hard to release but should get smoother with use. Safety is sluggish to move, but works if fully engaged. Interesting NOS Italian style automatic knife.
