STAINLESS 18cm Chinese copy of Schrade M2 paratrooper switchblade knife. These Chinese copies started coming into the US about 20 years ago. Haven't seen very many. The quality isn't even close to the original Schrade knives, but they do look like them and seem to work fairly well. This one measures 18.2 cm (7 1/8 inches) open with steel liners and safety and nickel silver lanyard ring and button. The clip blade is full and is stamped STAINLESS. The black jigged plastic scales are in very nice condition with just a bit of shrinkage. The knife works fairly well with the blade tip deep in the well close, opens fully and fair lockup with about 1/8" up and down at the tip open. Safety works. Novelty piece of switchblade history.
