Rare combination of smaller 17cm open size, less common Siesta scene on the front and less common spear point blade on this vintage Bullfighter brass lever switchblade made for the Mexican tourist trade in the 1960s & 70s in Japan. It measures 17cm (6 11/16 inches) open and 3 5/8 inches closed with steel liners and brass bolsters & lever. The less common Spear point blade is 100% full with original finish with some light scratches and is stamped STAINLESS on the face below the spine and stamped STAINLESS STEEL on the face of the top rear bolster. The front scale has the colorful (less common) Siesta scene with a man sitting with a sombrero seemingly napping (taking a siesta) in front of mountains and bullfighter scene on the back with less common light blue background and the word MEXICO in dark blue letters. Both scales covered in clear acrylic and in very good condition. The knife works well, but the lever presses very Hard. The blade tip is just above the liners closed, opens fully and good lockup with a little movement each way. Barely rattles if shaken with the blade open. VG condition.
