Shapleigh Hardware medium double jigged bone tip bolster switchblade

Shapleigh Hardware Co medium double switchblade with jigged bone scales & tip bolsters. This knife was made under contract by Schrade Cut Co for the hardware giant from the 1910s to mid 40s. The knife measures 3 3/8" closed and 7 inches with both blades open and has brass liners. The blades are both in nice condition and shiny with a little loss from sharpening. Main blade is marked SHAPLEIGH HDW CO around a diamond shape with DE inside. The DE stands for Diamond Edge, which is the trademark name used by Shapleigh for their knives. The jigged bone scales are in good condition with a small chip by the button on the front and a crack by the button on the rear scale. The knife works fairly well with both blades peeking a bit closed, open fully and both lock open, but the small blade has extra movement, approx 1/4 inch up and down at the tip. Small blade safety works, big blade safety does not work. Overall Good condition with some minor issues.
