Vintage Schrade Walden small double switchblade with Green black mottled scales. This is the smallest switchblade made by Schrade measuring 2 7/8" closed and 5 7/8 inches with both blades open with nickel silver liners. It was designated the model 7444X. Blades are mostly full and shiny with some light scratches and dark spots. Main blade is stamped SCHRADE CUT CO WALDEN NY and the small blade stamped with three patent dates 09, 10 & 16. The green/black mottled celluloid scales are in very nice condition with no cracks, just some handling marks/scuffs. The knife works well with both blade tips even with, or below the liners closed, good snap and good lockup with a little movement open. Both safeties work. The small blade does have some kickback, but usually bounces back to locked position. Safeties work. VG condition.
