SCHRADE WALDEN NY #155 Scout Black Stagged vintage automatic knife

Vintage SCHRADE WALDEN pattern number 155 Scout Black jigged automatic knife made in Walden, NY sometime between 1946 and 1956. It measures 4 1/4 inches closed and 7 3/8" open with steel liners and bolsters and nickel silver plated button and safety. The clip blade is 100% full with original finish with a little peppering on the tang and a few light scratches and it's stamped SCHRADE WALDEN NY on the tang. The black jigged synthetic scales (marketed as "Stagged") are in excellent condition with no shrinkage and held on with spun brass pins. Knife works great with blade tip deep and centered closed, strong snap and excellent lockup with less than 1/16" movement at the tip. Does not rattle if shaken with blade open. Safety works. EX condition.
