SCHRADE WALDEN M2 Paratrooper knife vintage Korean War switchblade knife

Korean War vintage SCHRADE WALDEN M2 Paratrooper knife made in Walden, NY sometime after 1946. The knife measures 4.25 inches closed and 7 3/8 inches open with steel liners, bolsters and lanyard ring and nickel silver button and safety. The clip blade is 97% full or better with patina, spotting, light scratches & peppering and sharpening marks along the cutting edge and is stamped SCHRADE WALDEN NY USA on the front of the tang. The black jigged synthetic scales are in very good condition with some shrinkage. The knife works well with the blade tip sits deep & centered closed, good snap and locks open with about 1/8" movement at the tip. Does rattle if shaken when open. Safety works. VG+ condition.
