Vintage Schrade Walden fishtail switchblade with Blueberries & cream handles (scales). This knife was made in Walden, NY sometime between 1946 and 1956 and was designated the model #150. It measures 4 inches closed and 7.25 inches open with brass liners & nickel silver bolsters, button and safety cap. The blade is nearly full and retains some of the original factory finish with patina, light scratches and peppering. Tang is marked SCHRADE WALDEN NY on the front and the back US PATS DEC 09, SEPT 10 & JUNE 16. The scales are very attractive and in good condition with no cracks but lots of handling marks & scratches. The knife works great with blade tip seating below the liners closed, good snap and good lockup with about 1/8" up and down at the tip. Does not rattle if shaken. Safety works. Really nice example of a vintage Schrade fishtail switchblade. VG+ condition.
