SCHRADE WALDEN 741 Small double Ivory celluloid vintage automatic knife

Vintage Schrade Walden small double 741 Ivory celluloid switchblade knife made in Walden, NY between 1946 and 1956. This is the smallest switchblade made by Schrade measuring 2 7/8" closed and 5 15/16 inches with both blades open and has brass liners with nickel plated steel buttons & safeties. The Spear/pen blade combo and both blades are 99% full or better with most of the original finish with some scratches and some spotting. Large blade stamped SCHRADE WALDEN NY on the front & small blade stamped US PATS DEC 21, 09, SEPT 13, 10 & JUNE 6, 16 so likely made before 1948. The Ivory celluloid scales are in good condition with light handling/use marks & advertising on the front for BRUCE H SEABRIGHT with black letters. Seabright owned a horse ranch and was a car dealer who sold General Motors cars in the 40s & 50s. The knife works well with both blade tips below liners closed, both open fully and tight lockup. Both safeties work. EX condition.
