SCHRADE WALDEN 154 Hunter Black Stagged automatic knife

Schrade Walden model 154 Hunter switchblade with Black Stagged (jigged) scales. This knife was made in Walden, NY sometime between 1946 and 1956. It measures 4 7/8" closed and just under 8 1/2" open with steel liners, brass pins and nickel silver button and safety cap. The blade is stamped SCHRADE WALDEN NY and is about 94% full and shiny with some scratches on the blade. It's about 1/4" short, but otherwise pretty full. The black jigged scales are in nice condition with no cracks or chips and very little shrinkage. The top two pins are missing from the back scale, but it doesn't hurt anything and there is no warping. The knife functions well with the blade tip seating deep, strong snap and nice lockup with very little movement. Safety works. Nice old Schrade hunter switchblade knife.
