Schrade Walden #153 Hunters Pride Folding guard switchblade knife

Vintage Schrade Walden Hunters Pride folding guard switchblade knife made in Walden, NY between 1946 and 1956 designated pattern #153. The knife measures 4 7/8 inches closed and 8 5/8" open with steel liners, bolsters and nickel silver guards, button and safety. The clip blade is 97% full or better and mostly shiny with some light scratches and scattered pitting and the tang is stamped SCHRADE WALDEN NY. Black jigged (stagged) synthetic scales are in excellent condition! The knife works well with the blade tip even with the liners closed, good snap and good lockup with less than 1/16" movement at the tip.  Does NOT rattle if shaken when open as most of these 70+ year old large switchblades do.
