Schrade Cut Co medium double Butter & Molasses switchblade

This knife was made by the Schrade Cutlery Co of Walden, NY sometime between 1916 and 1946. This knife was designated the 7404K with Butter & Molasses celluloid scales and brass liners. It has two blades that are each activated by pressing one of two buttons (one on each side). The knife measures 3 3/8" closed and 7 1/8" with both blades open. The knife has seen light use over the years but both blades are nearly full. 

The knife works well with both blades seated well closed, both open fully when buttons are pressed and both lock open well. The scales are beautiful and in good condition with one tiny hairline crack by the button on the front. Barely noticeable.
