Schrade Cut Co Sterling Silver medium Double

Schrade Cut Co double switchblade with Sterling Silver scales. This is the medium size double measuring 3 3/8" closed and 7 1/8" with both blades open. It was made in Walden, NY sometime between 1916 and 1946. The blades are full and you can see some of the factory Crocus finish under 80 years of patina. Main spear blade stamped SCHRADE CUT CO WALDEN NY and the small blade has three patent dates 09, 10 and 16. The Sterling silver scales are in very nice condition. The knife works well with blade blade tips seating well closed, open fully with firm button press and both lock open, but they do both have more than usual up and down movement at the tips when open. Large blade approx 3/16" and the small blade 1/2", but you'd never know it unless you push on them when open. Nice example of a vintage American gentleman's silver switchblade.
