Schrade Cut Co 3 3/4" Single Coffee & Cream

This is a 3 3/4" closed Schrade Cut Co single blade switchblade made in Walden, NY sometime between 1916 and 1946. The single blade switchblades made by Schrade Cut Co are rarer than the doubles and especially in this size. These are very hard to find in any condition. The knife measures just under 6.25 inches open and it has brass liners. The blade has some loss from sharpening and is approx 92% full with heavy patina, some spots. The blade is stamped SCHRADE CUT CO WALDEN NY on the front and has three patent dates on the back 09,10 and 16. The Coffee & Cream celluloid scales (handles) are in great condition with no cracks. The knife works properly with the blade tip seating even with the liners, opens fully with firm press of the button and good lockup with very little movement when open.
