Vintage SCHRADE CUT CO WALDEN, NY Medium double Pearl 7416T Tip bolster file blade knife that will be featured in the book Antique American Switchblades 2. The knife was made in Walden, NY between 1907 and 1910 or so and measures 3 3/8 inches closed and 7 1/8 inches with both blades open with brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, buttons & safeties.  Spear/file blade combo with both blades 98% full, or better with some original finish, patina, light scratches and a little light spotting, but overall very nice blades. The Mother of Pearl scales (handles) are GORGEOUS with that old pearl luster and in wonderful condition. The knife works well with both blade tips below the liners closed, strong spring and better than average lockup on both blades, no rattle if shaken with blades open. Both safeties work. Comes with laminated Certificate of Authenticity to show that it is an Actual knife pictured in the book. EX- condition.
