Schrade Cut Co small double Marine Pearl C.Muzzi & Co switchblade knife

Vintage Schrade Cut Co small double switchblade with marine pearl scales made in Walden, NY sometime between 1916 and 1946. This is the smallest switchblade made by Schrade measuring 2 7/8" closed and just under 6 inches with both blades open. It was designated the model 7444M and has brass liners with nickel silver buttons & safeties. Both blades are full and retain most of the original factory finish with some light scratches and spotting. The larger blade is stamped SCHRADE CUT CO WALDEN, NY and the pen blade is stamped US PATS DEC 21, 09, SEPT 13, 10 and JUNE 6, 16. The marine pearl celluloid scales are in great condition and the front scale has advertising that reads SINCE 1902 C.Muzzi & Co and has a nickel silver shackle. The knife works well with both blade tips below the liners when closed, good snap on both with some kickback and tight lockup on the small blade with some extra movement (about 1/4 inch) in the open position with the larger blade.
