This is an early Schrade Cut Co small double, pattern number 7444G that measures 2 7/8 closed and 5 7/8 inches open with nickel silver liners. Made in Walden, NY some between 1916 and 1946. Main blade stamped Schrade Cut Co Walden, NY and the small pen blade is marked with three patent dates, 1909, 10 & 16. The knife is in VG condition with mostly full blades with patina, spotting, and some scratches. The Green Pearl Waterfall celluloid scales are in good condition with no cracks. The knife works well with both blade tips seating well closed, open fully and good lockup. Both safeties work. Beautiful old gentleman's double nicer than it looks in the pics.
