Schrade Cut Co Medium double Sterling Silver Deluxe automatic knife SS740D

Schrade Cut Co Medium double Sterling Silver Deluxe automatic knife SS740D made in Walden, NY sometime between 1916 and 1946 with nice overall patina. This is the medium size double measuring 3 3/8" closed and 7" with both blades open with nickel silver liners, buttons and safeties. The blades are both 97% full or better with patina, some light scratches and light pitting. Spear/pen blade combo with the spear blade stamped SCHRADE CUT CO WALDEN NY and the small blade stamped US PATS DEC 21, 09, Sept 13, 10 & JUNE 6, 16. The Sterling silver scales are in very nice condition and both are stamped STERLING with light patina and small gap by center pin on the back scale which tells us that the spring was replaced. The knife works well with blade tips slightly above liners closed, open fully and both lock open some up and down at the tips, 1/8" or so. Does rattle if shaken with blades open as most of these do. Both safeties work. VG- condition.
