SCHRADE CUT CO medium double Ivory celluloid Fitchburg Mutual vintage switchblade knife

Vintage SCHRADE CUT CO medium double Ivory celluloid vintage switchblade knife made in Walden, NY sometime between 1916 and 1946. The knife measures 3 3/8" closed and 7 1/16 inches open with brass liners and nickel silver buttons and safeties. Spear/pen blade combination where large blade is 99% full or better and the small blade is 97% full or better with a reshaped tip and both have patina & spotting. The large blade is stamped SCHRADE CUT CO WALDEN NY on the tang and small blade US PATS Dec 21, 09, Sept 13, 10 and June 6, 16. The Ivory celluloid scales are in really nice condition and front scale is marked FITCHBURG MUTUAL FIRE INSURANCE CO. The knife works great with both blade tips at or below liners closed, open fully with some kickback on the small blade and both lock open well in full open position. Does not rattle if shaken. Safeties work. EX+ condition.
