SCHRADE CUT CO Medium double German Silver Deluxe Scroll switchblade knife Minty
SCHRADE CUT CO Medium double German Silver Deluxe Scroll switchblade knife made in Walden, NY between 1916 and 1946 and designated pattern 7409GSil. This is the medium size double measuring 3 3/8" closed and 7 3/16" with both blades open with brass liners and nickel silver buttons and safeties. The blades are both full with original factory finish. Main spear blade stamped SCHRADE CUT CO WALDEN NY and the small blade stamped US PATS Dec 21, 09, Sept 13, 10 and June 6, 16. The German (nickel) silver scales are in excellent condition and look pretty much like new. The knife works well with blade blade tips seating below liners closed, open fully and both lock open nice and tight with a little kickback on the small blade. Beautiful example of a vintage American gentleman's silver switchblade with leather purse that looks to be as old as the knife. Both safeties work. Nearly new condition.
