Schrade Cut Co Medium double Coffee & Cream switchblade knife
Schrade Cut Co Medium double Coffee & Cream switchblade knife
Vintage Schrade Cut Co Medium double Coffee & Cream switchblade knife made by the Schrade Cutlery Co of Walden, NY sometime between 1916 and 1946. This knife was designated the 7404AC with Coffee & Cream celluloid scales and brass liners. It has two blades that are each activated by pressing one of two buttons (one on each side). The knife measures 3 3/8" closed and 7 1/8" with both blades open. The knife has seen light use over the years but both blades are nearly full and have much of the original finish still visible. The large blade is stamped SCHRADE CUT CO WALDEN NY and the pen blade is marked US PATS Dec 21, 09, Sept 13, 10 & June 6, 16. The Coffee & Cream celluloid scales are in good condition with a crack across the safety on the front, but not too noticeable. The knife works well with both blade tips below the liners closed, both open fully when buttons are pressed and both lock open with a little up and down and side to side at the tip. Both safeties work. VG+ condition
