SCHRADE CUT CO Medium double Brown lined cream switchblade knife
SCHRADE CUT CO Medium double Brown lined cream switchblade knife
This knife was made by the Schrade Cutlery Co of Walden, NY sometime between 1916 and 1946 & was designated the 7404K with Brown Lined Cream (Butter & Molasses) celluloid scales and brass liners with Nickel silver buttons and safeties. It has two blades that are each activated by pressing one of two buttons (one on each side). The knife measures 3 3/8" closed and 7 1/16" with both blades open. The knife has seen light use over the years but both blades are nearly full and shiny. Large blade stamped SCHRADE CUT CO WALDEN NY and small blade has US PATS Dec 21,09, Sept 13,10 and June 6,16. The scales are beautiful and in very good condition. The knife works well with both blade tips below liners closed, both open fully with no kickback when buttons are pressed and both lock open well. Great old knife in very good condition. Both safeties work. VG+ condition.
