Vintage Schrade Cut Co Medium Double Black tip bolster automatic knife pattern # 7404TB with Keever Starch advertising made in Walden, NY sometime between 1916 and 1946. It measures 3 3/8 inches closed and 7 1/8 inches open with brass liners and nickel silver tip bolsters, buttons and safeties. Both blades are full and retain factory crocus finish with some very light scratches. Large spear point blade stamped SCHRADE CUT CO WALDEN NY on the tang and small blade stamped US PATS Dec 21, 09, Sept 13, 10 and June 6, 16. Black celluloid scales (handles) are in EX condition with no flaws and have advertising THE KEEVER STARCH CO. COLUMBUS, OHIO on the front scale and DON'T FORGET SATINETTE on the back. Comes with leather purse that looks to be original to the knife and also explains the Amazing condition of this one. The knife works great with both blade tips below liners closed, open fully and TIGHT lockup. occasional kickback on the small blade when opening. EX++ condition.
