SCHRADE CUT CO M2 Paratrooper style knife w Early Patent dates has been worked on and either has replacement scales, or has an older blade in a newer frame. The knife measures 4.25 inches closed and 7 3/8 inches open with steel liners, bolsters and lanyard ring and nickel silver button and safety. The clip blade is 95% full or better with patina, spotting, light scratches & peppering and is stamped SCHRADE CUT CO WALDEN NY on the front of the tang and US PATS FEB 13, 06, FEB 26, 07 and SEPT 13, 10 on the rear. The black jigged synthetic scales are in very good condition with slight shrinkage. The knife works well with the blade tip sits deep & centered closed, good snap and Very good lockup open with less than 1/16" movement at the tip. Does rattle slightly if shaken when open. Safety works. VG+ condition.
