SCHRADE CUT CO Large 3 3/4" Single Ivory celluloid automatic knife

SCHRADE CUT CO Large 3 3/4" Single Ivory celluloid automatic knife made in Walden, NY sometime between 1907 and 1916. The single blade switchblades made by Schrade Cut Co are rarer than the doubles and especially in this size and are very hard to find in any condition. The knife measures 3 11/16 inches closed and 6.25 inches inches open and it has brass liners and nickel silver button & safety. The clip blade is about 94% full with some loss from sharpening and has heavy patina spotting and some pitting with light scratches and the tang is stamped SCHRADE CUT CO WALDEN NY on the front and back is stamped US PATS FEB 13, 06 & FEB 26, 07. The Ivory celluloid scales (handles) are in good condition with a couple of hairline pin cracks and minor imperfections. The knife works properly with the blade tip below the liners closed, opens fully, and good lockup with 1/8" up and down at the tip. Does not rattle if shaken with blade open. VG condition.
