SCHRADE CUT CO Large 3 3/4" double Spear Butter & Molasses automatic knife

Vintage SCHRADE CUT CO Large 3 3/4" double Spear Butter & Molasses automatic knife made in Walden, NY sometime between 1916 and 1946 and designated the model 7504K. The knife measures 3 11/16 inches closed and 8 1/8 inches open with brass liners and nickel silver button, safety & pins. This is a Spear/pen blade combo and both blades are 99% full or better with light patina, light spotting and a few scratches. The tang of the larger blade is stamped SCHRADE CUT CO WALDEN, NY and the small blade is stamped US PATS DEC 21, 09, SEPT 13, 10 and JUNE 6, 16. The scales are Brown Lined Cream celluloid, usually referred to as Butter & Molasses and are in very good condition with lots of handling marks, but no cracks or major flaws. The knife works well with both blade tips below liners closed, both open fully, small blade has kickback, but locks up well when pushed fully open. Small blade has excellent lockup and the large blade has very good lockup with 1/8" up and down at the tip. Safeties work. VG+ condition.
