Schrade Cut Co Hunters Pride # G1544 3/4 STG Folding guard switchblade knife

Vintage Schrade Cut Co Hunters Pride Folding guard switchblade knife made in Walden, NY between 1916 and 1946 and designated pattern G1544 3/4 STG. Measures 4 7/8 inches closed and 8 5/8" open with steel liners, bolsters and guards and nickel silver button and safety. The blade is nearly full and shiny with some light scratches. Blade is stamped SCHRADE CUT CO WALDEN NY on the tang and backside US PATS DEC 21, 09, SEPT 13, 10 and JUNE 6, 16. Black jigged (stagged) synthetic scales are in excellent condition! The knife works well with the blade tip deep in the well closed, good snap and good lockup with just a little movement each way when locked open.  Does rattle if shaken when open as most of these used nearly 100 year old large switchblades do.
