Schrade Cut Co G1514M Bowtie Marine Pearl automatic knife

Schrade Cut Co G1514M Bowtie Marine Pearl automatic knife. The knife was made between 1916 and 1946 by the Schrade Cutlery Co of Walden, NY. It measures 4 inches closed and 7.25 inches open with brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, button and safety cap. The carbon steel clip blade is 98% full with some light patina, light scratches and light spotting and is marked SCHRADE CUT CO WALDEN NY on the front tang and US PATS Dec, 09, Sept, 10 and June 16. The Marine Pearl celluloid scales are beautiful and have a repair above the button and one tiny hairline crack by a pin on the back. The knife works well with the blade tip seating below the liners closed, good snap and locks open with about 1/8" up and down at the tip. Does not rattle if shaken open and safety works. VG+ condition.
