Schrade Cut Co Fishtail Candystripe vintage switchblade knife

Vintage Schrade Cut Co fishtail switchblade with Candystripe celluloid scales (handles) made in Walden, NY sometime between 1916 and 1946 and was designated the model 1514J. It measures 4 inches closed and 6 7/8 inches open with brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, button and safety. The tang is stamped SCHRADE CUT CO WALDEN NY and the rear is stamped with three patent dates 09, 10 and 16. The blade is about 90% full and short with patina, scratches and light spotting. The scales are very attractive candystripe celluloid with some internal cracking and a couple of surface cracks on the back scale. The knife works well with blade tip even with the liners, opens fully and good lockup with a little movement each way. Barely rattles if shaken when open. Safety works. G condition.
