Schrade Cut Co Fishtail Black Stagged Near Mint 1940s vintage switchblade knife. This one is a BEAUTY! The only things keeping it from being near Mint are some small spots on the blade and a few spots on the back spring and some lines on the tang. The knife measures 4 inches closed and 7.25 inches open with brass liners and nickel silver button and safety. The blade is 100% full with factory glazed finish. Stamped SCHRADE CUT CO WALDEN NY on the front and US PATS over Dec 21, 09, Sept 13, 10 and June 6, 16 on the back. Black jigged celluloid scales (stagged) are in near perfect condition. The knife works like new with blade tip deep, strong snap and TIGHT lockup open. Really NICE example of a Schrade Cut Co #1514STG. Safety works. EX+ condition.
