Gorgeous Schrade Cut Co large double with picked bone scales and full bolsters made in Walden, NY sometime before 1916 and was designated the model 7503 3/4B. This is the largest double that Schrade made measuring 3 3/4" closed and 8 3/16 inches with both blades open and has brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, button, safety & pins. The main clip swedge blade is 100% full with all of the original factory crocus finish the tang is marked SCHRADE CUT CO WALDEN NY on the front tang. The small pen blade is stamped US PATS FEB 13, 06 & FEB 26, 07 so likely made before 1910. The pen blade is also about 100% with all of the original factory finish! The dyed pick bone scales are in excellent condition with no cracks and the bolsters are nice. The knife works well with both blade tips well below liners closed, both open fully with some kickback on the small blade and both have excellent lockup open with only a hint of movement at the tips and no rattle if shaken with blades open. Both safeties work. Near mint condition. Wonderful example of a 100+ year old large Schrade double switchblade.
