Antique SCHRADE CUT CO Large Double 7503 Bone tip bolster automatic knife made in Walden, NY between 1907 and 1910. The knife measures 3 3/4 inches closed and 8 1/16 inches with both blades open and has brass liners and nickel silver tip bolsters, buttons, safeties & pins. This is a Spear/Pen blade combo and both blades have some loss from sharpening with the Spear blade being 98% full or better and the pen blade about 90% full and both have patina and pitting with scratches. Spear blade is stamped SCHRADE CUT CO WALDEN, NY and small blade is stamped US PATS FEB 13, 06 over FEB 26, 07 so made before 1910 most likely. The scales (handles) are dyed picked bone with tip bolsters at each end and were referred to in the catalogs as "American Stag".  The scales are in nice condition with one straight hairline crack from top rear bolster through the pin to the edge of the button hole. The knife works well with both blade tips at, or below the liners closed, both open fully and lock with some kickback on the small blade. Very good lockup and does not rattle if shaken with blades open. VG condition.
