Schrade Cut Co early large Bone double full bolsters 7503 3/4B automatic Book knife

Schrade Cut Co large double with picked bone scales and full bolsters that will be featured in the book Antique American Switchblades 2. This is the largest double that Schrade made measuring 3 3/4" closed and a little over 7 7/8 inches with both blades open. It was designated the model 7503 3/4B. The main clip swedge blade is 90% full, or better with dark patina and some spotting and the tang is marked SCHRADE CUT CO WALDEN NY on the front and US PATS FEB 13, 06 & FEB 26, 07 so likely made before 1910. The pen blade is also about 90% with patina & spotting and has been reshaped slightly and is stamped US PATS FEB 13, 06 & FEB 26, 07. The pick bone scales are in excellent condition with no cracks and the bolsters are nice. The knife works well with both blade tips below liners closed, both open fully with some kickback on the small blade and both lock open better than average with about 1/8" movement at the tips and no rattle if shaken with blades open. Small blade safety works, but safety for large blade does not work. Very nice example of a 100+ year old large Schrade double switchblade. VG condition
